The history of Bennett Fozzard can be traced back to the 1920’s when Joseph Fozzard was a manager of the Motor Union Insurance Company. He teamed up with Fred Fishwick in the 1930's to form Fred Fishwick & Co Ltd. Various changes took place over the years and in 1978 Joseph Fozzard’s son: Herbert formed H J Fozzard & Co

In January 1984 Tony and Mike Bennett set up in partnership as Bennett Associates, as the business grew the partnership team was increased in 1987 with the addition of Neil Cannon.

January 1996 saw the amalgamation of Bennett Associates and H J Fozzard & Co to form Bennett Fozzard.

2008 was a busy and interesting year; In June Bennett Fozzard became Partner Brokers of Layton Blackham Business Solutions to increase negotiating and buying power. This linked with our local knowledge enhances our service to our clients. In August we were please to welcome the clients of Ian Berry (Insurance Brokers) Limited.
